There is a marked interest in Latin America and the Caribbean in supporting the potential of EdTech as a vehicle to have greater access to education; improve student experiences and outcomes; and promote better efficiency in the industry in general.The purpose of this article is to identify which technologies are being applied and what uses are being given to them in the EdTech ecosystem, particularly in Colombia.To fulfill this purpose, key actors in the ecosystem were identified with the need to know the dynamics of the development of EdTech industry in Colombia and especially the use of technologies.In an articulation of Academia, Business, State and Society, an alliance was structured that sought to comply with the key concepts to orchestrate an ecosystem.Through a quantitative research method, an information collection instrument was applied to a sample of one hundred actors in the Colombian EdTech ecosystem.By systematizing the data, it can be inferred that technologies such as: data analytics and blockchain are great drivers of sales, that there is a commitment to improve quality; student-centered learning; academic performance; innovation and creativity, supported mainly by technologies for the development of educational materials, mobile applications, gamification, innovative methodologies, and artificial intelligence.At the same time, there is no intensive use of emerging technologies such as BigData, AR/VR, and Robotics, but there is of Artificial Intelligence.
