In this paper, a method for designing the control of a synchronous buck converter, which is based on online identification through the use of least squares, is proposed. To evaluate this approach, experimentation is carried out on a real-time prototype using the C2000-based F28379D microprocessor and using a TIDM-DC-DC-BUCK as the converter. A PI-type controller and a control model with state variable feedback are designed, and the ability of the controller to cope with different types of disturbance, including external and internal ones, are analyzed. The results obtained indicate that the developed controller is effective in tracking error and disturbance rejection, demonstrating the usefulness of the proposed approach for the design of power electronic converter control systems.
