The main objective of this study was to make an approximation of the psychological sequelae present in the adult life of women victims of childhood sexual abuse. Based on a qualitative approach and grounded theory, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 8 women aged between 18 and 36 years. After analyzing the data, the sequelae were grouped into three main categories: sequelae in intimate life, effects on motherhood, and factors involved in healing. Considering the results, it is concluded that the most widespread psychological sequelae in adult life are those related to sexual behavior, the role of maternal care, and the need for support networks to facilitate recovery processes.
