Abordaje de la conducta suicida en infancia, adolescencia y juventud: análisis y aporte desde Caldas y Risaralda a las Rutas de Atención Integral en Salud.
Suicidal behavior is a multifactorial phenomenon that can be intervened to prevent the act of suicide. Objective: To analyze the individual, family and sociodemographic factors associated with suicide attempts in childhood, adolescence and youth between 2016 and 2019-1 in Caldas and Risaralda. Methods: Retrospective and analytical study. Results: In both departments the highest suicide percentage occurred in Youth, also women attempted suicide more frequently (66.4%) and were comparatively younger than men in all cases (P <0.0001). Conclusions: age and sex are the individual factors associated with the case studies. Intersectoral work is essential for life-course prevention with a gender approach and actions in the educational environment in comprehensive health care routes.
