During the last decades, the construction sector has had lower productivity rates than other industries. This low productivity has been the starting point for implementing new methodologies to generate added value in construction. One of the most relevant movements has been that of digital transformation. However, technologies alone will not generate a competitive advantage for organizations; such implementations must be carried out together with changes in the organizational structure. In this way, the main objective of this research is to analyze the theoretical relationship between digital transformation and organizational structures. These links could significantly impact improving the products and services provided by the construction sector. The main results show that the organizational climate, the exchange of information, and the integrated organizational innovation are the main result variables for improving products and services in the sector. Finally, an implementation framework of digital transformation and the organizational structure seems to improve organizational results.
