The metal screws used in osteosynthesis are fabricated with precise dimensions in order to prevent complications in the surgical procedure and to optimize costs and production time. This research work proposes a control system comprised of a digital microscope, a lighting base, and a graphical user interface developed in ImageJ (open-source software). The main objective in this work is to validate metrologically the screws dimension's quality. In the results, the length and width of the screws obtained with the interface and the same measurements obtained with a caliper were compared as a metrological validation procedure.
