ABSTRACTOThe objective of this research was to establish the operation curves of the six sigma metrics of a multilinear productive system. As a theoretical foundation, the concept of productive system, six sigma metrics and operation curves are approached. Through a heuristic, quantitative and rational propositive analysis, a productive system to which the six sigma metrics and a multivariable capacity indicator have been contextualized is evaluated, in order to finally propose in a novel way the six sigma operation curves of the system. The analysis of the performance of the operation curves evidenced that the global process reaches a maximum Z level of 4.7, minimizing the number of defects to 355. On the other hand, the operation curves show that processes 1, 4 and 5 show a maximum Z performance of 5.212; 5.268; 5.414 respectively, which is excellent. Future research is invited to address the analysis made of operation curves to evaluate other productive systems that allow the improvement and reduction of defects of the productive system and to establish the minimum and maximum capacity of the process to reduce defects.
