This chapter of the book consists of documenting the different practices in relation to the energy matrix through a systematic analysis of deductive literature in which hydrogen fuel is a fundamental element in the energy transition in a hydrogen economy in Colombia. During the investigation it was observed that Colombia is becoming one of the countries that is betting on the leadership of energy transformation in Latin America, followed by Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, and Mexico. Colombia hopes to become the colossus of the hydrogen economy and sustainability in the region.
