In the case of Colombia, as a result of the indigenous and Afro-descendant struggles, educational practices emerged in ethnic contexts, which generated pressure on the state for the inclusion of ethnic groups in educational policy spaces; additionally, the view of international organizations on these aspects, places them in notions such as diversity, multiculturalism, interculturalism. The indigenous and Afro-descendant struggles, as well as the pressure of international organizations, have influenced the development of policies such as Ethno-education. As a result of several research exercises about the implementation of Afro-descendant Ethno-education in Santiago de Cali, given that it is the second city with Afro-descendant population in Latin America, here is presented the interview to a teacher evidencing a pedagogical exercise that could well be called as insubmissive, which taking advantage of the interstices left by the rigid structure of the educational system manages to penetrate taking advantage of the same tools of the system.
