This document focuses on the proposal of a socioeconomic sustainability model based on the identification of the energy needs of the EPARARA SIAPIDARA Indigenous Reservation in the municipality of Guapi - Cauca. With the characterization of the community and the available energy resources, an electrical energy generation system with photovoltaic solar technology was dimensioned to cover the existing energy demand and an estimated one for the refrigeration system of the social headquarters, with which it is sought strengthen their productive fishing activity. In order to maintain the operation of the system in the long term, a sustainability model is proposed, focused mainly on the social appropriation of technology by the community based on training and permanent knowledge transfer. Finally, some indicators are proposed for the evaluation of the implementation of the proposed model.
