The present investigation aims to determine the perceptions and pedagogical practices in adolescents for the understanding of Rural Territorial Planning through a comparative study in the districts of Morro and Punto Nuevo of the City of Yopal - Casanare, two completely different districts in terms of geographical characteristics, social organizations, socio-cultural and economic dynamics. The work is developed taking into account the theoretical approach of humanistic geography which claims geography with man, highlighting the relationship between territory, space and the social practices of man in order to order and plan cities in a better way. . From the results of the research, the question arises if the process of territorial recognition based on humanistic geography, added to training processes on issues of participation scenarios and territorial ordering, contributes to the mitigation of migratory processes from the rural to the urban sector. by adolescents and young people
