In this article, I study the affective economy that circulates around the culture of positive productivity as observed on the Instagram profiles of influencers Andrea Reed and Margarita Pasos. Through auto-ethnography, copromotional observation, interviews and discourse analysis of the posts shared by these influencers, I observe how guilt and emotional management come together in an affective disciplinary device that plays an essential role in the production of extra productive and self-surveillant subjectivities.
