Abstract:

This research aims to evaluate the design and development of the practical work proposal on the electrolysis of water, as a didactic strategy, for the promotion of the use of concepts associated with the conservation of energy in students of cycle V of the Luis Angel Arango IED School, For this, the previous ideas of the eleventh grade students of the IED must be determined, about the concept of energy conservation in an electrolytic process of accelerated corrosion, then a learning strategy based on the phenomenon of electrolysis was designed as practical work, oriented to the use of concepts, associated with energy conservation, based on the following categories of analysis, competence, use of concepts and practical work framed in the experimental theoretical approach, through the development of different learning instruments as intervention guides , two videos, raised from the learning evidences for the use of concepts, seen from three experimental practices, which are applied face-to-face and asynchronously to the students, with this methodology it was intended to identify from the learning evidences obtained from the practical work, the level of use of concepts of the Students, faced with the concept of energy conservation, this was done by relating the level of competence according to the assessment scale consigned in the Institutional Assessment System (SIE) of the Luis Angel Arango IED School.
