The adoption of teleworking in companies requires considering health and safety at work as an integral element in job development and training. The foregoing goes beyond the design of the teleworker position and the analysis of the ergonomic and occupational risks associated with the job. This study designed a portable system for the ergonomic evaluation of teleworkers directly from their workplace. Measurements were focused on physical ergonomic risks and mental loads experienced by worker in their daily routine. The methodology was composed by three main phases: (1) Identification and analysis of ergonomic risks associated with teleworking, (2) Design of an ergonomic evaluation system using machine learning techniques, (3) Ergonomic evaluation of teleworkers and including comparison of the method effectiveness with ERGONIZA system. Results allowed the identification and analysis of ergonomic risks in teleworking. In accordance with the above, the comprehensive ergonomic evaluation during teleworking seeks to improve the quality of life of its collaborators, their ergonomic habits and work performance.
