This research arises from the interest in the learning-teaching processes of an LE, one that goes beyond developing the linguistic skills necessary for communication, but that manages to socially construct the subjects framed within the qualitative approach. For these reasons, through the teaching of LE it is possible to include functional and notional contents referring to the LGBTIQ+ group, and thus provide students with tools to understand the values and attitudes that characterize and identify this group; and from this understanding, begin to generate respect, tolerance and acceptance towards people who do not fit in with heteronormative discourses. Hence, the change must begin in the classroom, given that from our role as teachers we must turn these spaces into safe places, where diversity is one of the central axes. The objective of this research is to demonstrate how LGBTIQ+ cinema in Spanish can become a tool that promotes inclusive environments for non-normative sexualities and genders, both inside and outside the ELE classroom. For the development of this proposal it was necessary to explore the contents established by the Pedagogy of Languages, Inclusive Pedagogy and Queer Pedagogy. This allowed the creation of a methodological route that allowed the development of six pedagogical cards of LGBTI-themed films from Spain, Latin America and Colombia.
