In the development of activities in a supply chain, the transportation sector plays a crucial role for companies. The need for transportation depends on many aspects such as the supply of goods, passenger mobility, logistics, among others. Therefore, transportation becomes an essential and integral element in linking customers to the supply chain team through logistics.Logistics can be generally considered as a service that means "providing the availability of the right product, in the right condition, in the right quantities, at the right place, at the right time, at the right cost, to the right customer". This degree project shows the development and implementation of an IoT device prototype to capture and present traceability information of a product in the logistic transportation stage. This can help companies to keep track of the moving conditions and location of their products.
