This research seeks to quantify the relationship between the Covid-19 pandemic and the performance in mathematics of students enrolled in a higher education program. For this purpose, an Inverse Probability Weighted Regression Adjustment- IPWRA methodology was used. The mathematics results obtained by students in the Saber Pro test taken in 2019 and 2020, the year the pandemic began, were analyzed. The results show that students who took the Saber Pro examination in 2020 performed lower in mathematics compared to those students who took the exam in 2019, results that are consistent with the existing literature.
