The research proposal The oral practices in rural education contexts, is an image that arises from a concern in the teaching practice and that crystallizes in the box of the development of teacher training of the Master in Education from the language line. The research interest is focused on characterizing the formal oral practices from the locutionary and illocutionary speech acts and rural conditions of tenth grade students of the El Uval Rural Educational Institution in the classroom. The text was organized into four chapters: Construction of the problem and purposes, theoretical framework, methodological framework and construction of the analysis and interpretation of data. In the first chapter the elements that place the research in a specific rural educational context, which is the Uval Rural Educational Institution in the town of Usme of Bogotá in the agrarian zone, are exposed. In this sense, it starts by recognizing some differentiated antecedents in three orders (legal, rural, and investigations in orality), then raises the justification that gives place and reason for being of the investigation. Subsequently, the problem that gave way to the investigation is exposed and that is focused on a scarce analysis and study of the oral practices in the classroom. The final section offers the purposes of investigative work. The second chapter composes a conceptual framework that seeks to support the research question through the transverse struts that institute it. Therefore, it presents a theoretical basis on orality, speech acts, rural education, and communication deficit around the formal language established in the classroom. Each one of these sections aligns the concepts involved from some references that allow to create a first draft about what this proposal occupies according to the senses of the question and research objectives. The following chapter shows the developments of the project according to the logic of a methodological route that offers ideas about the ideological position that this proposal adopts in relation to the research methodology, oriented from the conceptions of the qualitative approach, whose type of study is descriptive orienting the process of collecting information through non-participant observation. The last chapter presents the construction of the analysis and interpretation of information, through which the encounter with the educational figures of the study population is characterized and we approach the understanding of the conceptions, perceptions, realities and ways of naming their environments to reconstruct oral senses through this exercise.
