In the investigation the influence of moral feelings in the moral formation of a group of 97 young students belonging to ninth grade school Virginia Gutiérrez de Pineda, Bogota addressed. From the development of autobiographical accounts of significant experiences in the moral life of the young participants, moral feelings present in 16 autorelatos selected a total of 63 life stories produced by young participants were identified. For the process of comprehensive analysis were used as categories, situations and moral dilemmas, and as subcategories, moral feelings proposed by Hoffman (2002). From the hermeneutical exercise, the role played by the moral sentiments in the prosocial behavior of participants in meaningful situations in their life trajectories and dissonance / consonance between your thought and acted moral moral evaluated. For the research process a training-educational path framed on experience self-reflective experience as these areas of morality process was implemented. Thrown results showed a significant influence of the moral sentiments in the convergence between thought-actuated morals of the young. These results indicate a role of moral sentiments as enhancers prosocial behavior and empathy, and their relevance to the implementation of training processes within the school.
