The text deals with the participation of Ricardo Warecki and other artists in the second period of the magazine Monos y Monadas, published in Rosario (Argentina) between June 1934 and January 1936, from an articulation that takes into account its graphic-journalistic proposal and its political position. At first, the general aspects that shape the project and its transformations are examined, to then consider the interventions of Ricardo Warecki, which range from illustrations for literary fiction texts to vignettes and political cartoons. Our hypothesis holds that, while the images for tales and short stories allude to timeless themes and styles of the interwar period, the satirical cartoons allow us to glimpse the political affinities of the magazine.
