Resumen: En su declaración de 1926, publicada bajo el título: “Nosotros, variante de un manifiesto,” Dziga Vertov presenta sus ideas sobre el “deber ser” del cine. En medio de coloridas metáforas, Vertov expresa la necesidad de romper con la tradición de usar las artes burguesas como sustratos del nuevo medio. Para él, no es posible hacer buen cine replicando las estructuras del teatro, la música de cámara o la literatura ligera. Para esto, propone la existencia de un nuevo tipo de arte que sólo es posible gracias al moderno concepto de montaje. A este nuevo lenguaje lo llama kino-pravda (cine-verdad). Un lenguaje que existe gracias al arduo trabajo de los kinoks (cineastas revolucionarios) y que se manifiesta en piezas audiovisuales que pretenden develar la realidad. El centro del universo vertoviano es el montaje o kinokismo, la única articulación posible de todas las relaciones humanas. El proyecto kino-pravda fue completado inadvertidamente a principios del siglo XXI por cientos de miles de youtubers. SEBASTIÁN VILLALOBOS, A KINOK FROM THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY Abstract: In his 1926 statement, published under the title: "We, variant [version] of a manifesto," Dziga Vertov presents his ideas on the "must be" of cinema. In the midst of colorful metaphors, Vertov expresses the need to break with the tradition of using the bourgeois arts as substrates of the new medium. For him, it is not possible to make good cinema by replicating the structures of theater, chamber music or light literature. For this, he proposes the existence of a new type of art that is only possible due to the modern concept of assembly. This new language is called kino-pravda (film-truth). A language that exists due to the hard work of the kinoks (revolutionary filmmakers) and that is manifested in audiovisual pieces that pretend to unveil reality. The center of the vertovian universe is the assembly or kinokism, the only possible articulation of all the human relations. The kino-pravda project was inadvertently completed at the beginning of the Twenty-First Century by hundreds of thousands of youtubers.
