The present research was carried out in order to include people with visual disabilities in the turmeque sport (yew), in this sense, the objective is to know the social contribution of turmeque as a pedagogical strategy of inclusion in a population with visual disabilities.The methodology focuses on a qualitative study, based on Participatory Action Research (PAR), which allows people with visual disabilities to be included in the practice of turmeque, with the purpose of changing reality and facing the problems of a population to starting from their resources and participation, including them in this initiative.The investigation was carried out with six people between forty and sixty years of age, inhabitants of the Engativá locality.The instruments applied were interviews, later analyzed using the ATLAS software.ti, whose result allowed to establish that people with visual disabilities through turmeque sport achieved social inclusion, being well received by said population.As a result of the analysis, a strategy for adapting sports practice for the visually impaired population was articulated, this was structured in a manual entitled "Turmequé pedagogical strategy for social inclusion in the visually impaired population", in which fundamental activities were designed and created.when it comes to practicing adapted sports.To conclude, in relation to the results and conclusions, it can be affirmed that the adapted turmeque contributed socially in the process of inclusion and strengthening of its social capacities.
