Abstract This collection of papers from Latin American catalytic researchers was born from online interaction during the trialing times of the COVID‐19 pandemic. The collection showcases the diversification that the field of catalysis has had in our region and features works from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela, as well as contributions from Latin American researchers who have developed their careers abroad.
