Analysis of the risks associated with the provision of services in respiratory diseases ward during the COVID 19 pandemic at the Hospital Maria Inmaculada
Objective: to evaluate the risks associated with the Covid 19 pandemic to workers in the ERA ward of the Maria Immaculada Departmental Hospital. Method: the method used was descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach, in which a documentary review was carried out, a survey of a sample of 69 health workers in the service mentioned above and an interview with the Director of Human Talent and the Professional of the OHS Office. Results: the findings confirm that the most relevant risks for these personnel were psychological, which affect their emotions; biological due to exposure to contagion; and ergonomic, due to long working hours. Discussion: the valuation of the risks, in view of the position of the authors in their classification, and their high impact on the development of the personnel's functions, presented little accompaniment by the Hospital. Conclusions: there were many risks identified in the OHS ward service that had significant labor, social and psychological consequences, resulting in greater support from the Hospital, since social distancing was a limitation for the mitigation of this risk
