Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), despite being a pathology that occurs in childhood, shows difficulties for people who continue to develop symptoms until adulthood, current technological tools for treatment are aimed at children or they have high-cost signal acquisition equipment, which is why the following research aims to design a virtual reality (VR) game based on standardized tests for this disorder such as the continuous performance test (CPT) to quantify symptoms and monitor their improvement. The methodology for the design of the game and the measurements that are required during it are presented, as well as their respective calculations. An experiment is carried out with 37 participants of a table tennis game with two groups, one in a real environment with physical balls and the other in a VR environment. When analyzing the results, it is statistically found that there is better performance in inattention, impulsivity and sustained attention when performing the VR therapy.
