Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis is a rare entity of unknown etiology that occurs mostly in patients of childbearing age or a few years after breastfeeding. Its clinical presentation is insidious, generally characterized by the presence of a unilateral inflammatory mass that can be associated with abscesses and progressive asymmetric growth. Regarding diagnostic imaging, the findings are non-specific but of vital importance to begin the orientation of the case and here lies the importance of knowing its characteristics and the existence of this disease.
