It is of the utmost importance for the School of Administrative and Accounting Sciences, and the sectorial and entrepreneur research group "GISEDE" -for its abbreviation in Spanish- of the Universidad de Boyacá, the development of academic and research tools, that allow the appropriation through an easy and straightforward manner the experience of successful entrepreneurs trained in this academic house, in order to identify the experience of how they developed their competitive advantages, likewise as how they designed solutions to the problems in their environment, to understand in a rigorous way the decision-making process undertaken by this organizations in order to become leaders in their sectors. For this reason it was made evident the need to document the set of business creation experiences and the life stories of entrepreneurs graduated from the academic programs offered by the Universidad de Boyacá, with the aim of identifying the organizational models, management practices and strategic action courses that led these organizations to commercial success product of these ventures, in order to characterize the internal organizational process and external situations this book is drawn up, which systematically presents the areas and contexts of three case studies that led these analyzed companies to become promoters of innovation within the communities where they develop their commercial activity, which were approached from a perspective that contributes to the growth of knowledge in the administrative, accounting and financial sciences. It is concluded that the case studies are a useful tool in academic learning processes, being a guide in the analytical and decision-making process in real contexts, the construction of simulation scenarios based on real situations, that encourage the training of needed proficiency for the successful professional practice of the future graduates of the Universidad de Boyacá and the readers of this document.
