This document presents an analysis of science, technology and innovation indicators of the Universities belonging to the System of State or Official Universities. The methodology used in the paper is a three-stage methodology that consists of the identification of the study units, the definition of the indicators and their measurement and analysis. The indicators used are grouped into two important categories: input and output. It is concluded that the Universidad Nacional de Colombia is the one with the best numbers, as well as the Universidad de Antioquia and the Universidad del Valle. This document invites to do a performance of an efficiency analysis with the institutions under discussion and the proposed indicators to comparatively evaluate their results.
