One of the aspects of urban cleaning is associated with packaging and garbage collection, which aims at the best way to properly dispose of solid waste. However, there are numerous challenges such as the local topography, costs of machinery and equipment, as well as the education of the local population. When analyzing urban centers, one can see a continuous process of changes, whether due to road maintenance, congestion, or the natural growth of cities. Managing collection routes is a complex activity that requires planning capable of organizing the best routes, serving the entire population with the required regularity.Analyze the place in question and promote a form of packaging and collection with greater efficiency in the destination of waste. The methodology used consisted of surveying topographic and population data of the analyzed micro-region of the city of Recife/PE through research.Afterwards, the necessary measures were adopted, through calculations and software for planning the packaging, the collection routes and destination of the residues.Analyzing the threat score, it was possible to observe that integrated management presents the highest number of points, followed by environmental education, final disposal, and waste production. The model applied could lead to different situations, such as final disposal or waste production with the highest score and not integrated management. It was possible to perceive that even with the inconveniences found in the micro-region, it is always possible to adapt the project in order to improve the result of the destination of the residues, where, by making a previous study of the place and the population in question, it was possible to establish the best tools and solutions for the factors that can be a hindrance in the project.
