The Environmental Educational Projects (PRAE in Spanish) in Colombia have been an effective tool to build proposals focused on solving environmental problems. Rural Educational institutions have been an important paper for connecting students with their context and achieving the success of these transversal projects. This investigative work offers an Environmental Educational Proposal for the Institución Educativa Rural El Manzano, located in the countryside of El Manzano in the municipality of La Calera, with which it was sought to update the established institutional PRAE and propose an approach from the popularization of resources natural as a possible process of improvement to the environmental situation of the sidewalk and appropriation of its local context from the natural resources offered by the geographical area, through environmental education.
