Among the most important causes of migration are forced displacement due to violence or persecution, especially in countries where internal or international conflicts have developed, as well as the search for job opportunities and income motivation and specialized mobility. The consequences underlie the effect on the domestic price structure, wages, the demand for local employment vs. the demand for illegal employment, informal labor market, among others. The chapter synthesizes the turning points in the armed conflict in Colombia to understand the problem of labor relations of the affected population as the result of the tensions present in the construction and sustainability of peace.
