This systematic review describes the health effects of suffering suicide grief on families and their coping strategies.For this, 25 scientific articles published in the Scopus, Redalyc, Scielo, Pubmed.gov,Dialnet, Science Direct, Semantic Scholar and academic Google databases, published in the last five years, were selected.As a result, physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioral effects were found such as sadness, guilt, hopelessness, suicidal ideation, denial, anger, fear, among others.Regarding coping, it was found to value life more, reorient life, search for family, social and spiritual support.
