This research article aims to investigate the degree of understanding in OSH of the employees of the healthcare area of the entity under study.It has a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental research design in which 20 employees of the healthcare area participated as follows: 4 nurses, 6 health assistants, 2 bacteriologists, 4 doctors and 4 dentists.The Scale to determine the level of knowledge in OSH is defined as superior, high and low performance.The analysis of results determined that the employees of this entity have a low degree of understanding on S & ST issues.This allows the organization to establish work plans articulated with the SG & SST in order to improve its processes and in this
