To present the Propofol infusion syndrome, which has an association in patients ventilated under sedation due to sars cov 2 pneumonia Case presentation: of a 50-year-old patient managed in the ICU, who was admitted to a first-level hospital with symptoms of severe respiratory failure due to Sars cov2 pneumonia, requiring invasive mechanical ventilation, under maintenance sedation with Propofol, managing to identify Propofol infusion syndrome (PIS). Conclusion: it is a little known but highly fatal syndrome in which strict surveillance is required at the time of its administration, which is why it is possible to find it in patients with Sars CoV2 pneumonia
