This article shows the assessments that have a group students of Basic primary of Educational Rural and Urban schools, about charismatic and not charismatic species.Based on semi-structured questionnaire with open questions, the instrument data indicate that tmost of the participants preferred domestic, exotic and wild animals; base their preferences on some a esthetic feature about animals, as well as assessments of some use.The ecological values, positive assessments that reflect their importance in the environment were identified; but in relation to insects also consider dangerous and cause diseases.
