The description of the physiographic conditions of San Andrés, was prepared based on the collection, integration and analysis of several studies which allowed to know its origins, development and conformation. Furthermore, based on primary data, consisting mainly of bathymetric data and georeferenced aerial photographs was analyzed present morphological configuration of the seabed that surrounds It and the changes presented in its coastline over a period of 56 years. In this study was established, among other things, the dominant plant species, the geomorphological units and geological conformation that define the Island, the soil characteristics that compose it and the uses of these have been established result of anthropization that has suffered in the past 50 years, the shape and composition of the seabed and the variations in the coastline presented mainly in the east side of the island, and their possible causes.
