This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine: 1. the likelihood of pain alleviation after sympathetic blockade with local anesthetics in the patient with CRPS; 2. how long the benefit persists; 3. the incidence of adverse effects of the procedure.
