<p><strong>Resumen:</strong> Este artículo resulta de la investigación<br />que busca sensibilizar y visibilizar el currículum oculto<br />en la cartilla Nacho, de la cual se han vendido muchos<br />millones en varios países latinoamericanos durante más<br />de cuatro décadas. Dicha investigación, se llevó a cabo<br />usando el método descriptivo, una revisión bibliográfica y<br />entrevistas, en la cual 150 personas fueron interrogadas,<br />incluyendo hombres y mujeres de diferentes estratos del<br />departamento del Atlántico, cuyas edades estaban entre<br />16 a 42 años, que tuvieron la cartilla Nacho como texto<br />en su educación primaria. Se encontró que la cartilla<br />Nacho reafirma la exclusión y la subordinación de clase,<br />género y etnia a través de su currículum oculto textual<br />y visual, lo cual es una limitante para el desarrollo<br />integral de hombres y mujeres y por tanto de la sociedad.<br />Además, se privilegia en textos e imágenes a la religión<br />católica, excluyendo a otras religiones. Es necesaria la<br />creación de modelos pedagógicos que no hagan de las<br />diferencias un motivo de exclusión.<br /><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Palabras claves:</strong> currículum oculto, cartilla Nacho,<br />exclusión, género, clase y etnicidad</p><p><strong>The Hidden Curriculum in Primary School</strong><br /><strong>Textbooks: The Nacho ABC Book</strong><br /><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This article is the result of research that aims<br />to raise awareness and make visible the hidden curriculum<br />on the Nacho ABC book, which has sold millions of<br />books in several Latin American countries during more<br />than four decades. The research was conducted using<br />the descriptive method, a review of the literature and<br />interviews of 150 persons, including men, women from<br />the different social strata of Atlántico Department whose<br />ages were between 16 to 42 years, and who were taught<br />with this reader. It was found that the Nacho early reader<br />reinforces exclusion and subordination by reasons of<br />social class, gender and ethnicity through its textual<br />and visual hidden curriculum, which is a limiting factor<br />for the integral development of men and women, and<br />therefore of society. Texts and images show only Catholic<br />churches, excluding other religions.
