From the second half of 1990's years on, Brazilian Eletricity Sector experienced deep transformation. Before this time, Distribution services of eletrical energy were provided basically by state companies.Although twenty and three Distribution Concessionaires had been privatized in the period from 1995 to 2000, the Distribution services are still being rendered by private and state Concessionaires. For analysing changes occurred in the Distribution labor Market, from 1995 to 2015, it was made use of the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS) data -administrative data collected by Ministry of Labor with information about the Brazilian formal labor market. In the light of the neoclassic theory and Human Capital theory assumptions, this paper confronts information gathered from RAIS with efficiency indicators published by National Agency of Energy Electricity (ANEEL).The goal of this paper is to compare wage levels and productivity levels -and investigates if there is causality relation between them -of the Concessionaires from state and private sectors, acting in Distribution services of eletrical energy segment.
