The Official Colombian Entities established some conditions to promote the Renewable Energy Sources as the Photovoltaic Systems (PV) in their Electrical Market. The conditions to be an "auto-generator" in the country were established by the Regulatory Commission of Energy and Gas (CREG) in 2018 and look to promote new generation systems in distribution networks. This paper studies the changes in the Harmonic Distortion due to the connection of auto-generators on a Local Distribution System (LDS). For this purpose, the IEEE 13 nodes system is modelled with the characteristics of a Colombian distribution network at 13,8 kV. The Distributed Generation (DG) is done in two nodes using PV of 769 kWp and 155 kWp. The DG is included in order to perform an assessment of the Power Quality impact of this technology into a LDS. All the simulations were performed out using the DIgSILENT® PowerFactory Tools.
