The problem of poor air quality in large cities has been a challenge for governments as their efforts have yet to produce convincing results. Air governance was born as a strategy that implies the co-management of the resource between multiple actors, so this research, based on the case study of the Technical, Academic and Citizen Table for Air Quality of Bogotá (MeCAB) generates an air governance scheme coordinated from the citizens with unidirectional and bidirectional interrelationships between the different stakeholders, thus making it possible to indicate the capacities, possibilities and responsibilities of each actor to contribute to the comprehensive improvement of air quality.
