This document presents a study about the possibility of increasing the energy efficiency of electric vehicles (EV) through torque-speed allocation in the electric motor. To define the optimization problem, a dynamic model of EV and a motor mapping performance using experimental tests was used. The simulation results are conducted in MATLAB/Simulink environment showed that when small variation <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\delta$</tex> (%0.5 to 2%) on torque and rotational speed can improve energy efficiency. In addition, the performance of the proposal of a torque-speed allocation strategy and optimization problem was determined by metaheuristics methods; the time required to find the best solution is within the sample rate interval.
