In this paper, it is presented a study of the development of entrepreneurial and innovative activities within social responsibility policy in 58 Hotels from the city of Cartagena de Indias. In the Hotels, it is evaluated the perceptions of the employees about the degree of innovation, the source where the innovations come from, the degree of fulfillment of these actions, and the main obstacles to innovate. Furthermore, it is estimated the proportion of employees that have undertaken entrepreneurial activities, their socioeconomic characteristics, attitude facing fear of failure, their motivations, their knowledge about entrepreneurship, innovation and social responsibility, the relation among entrepreneurship and the perceptions about financial, legal, and tax obstacles; the above, using multiple correspondence and cluster analysis. Finally, it is assessed the perceptions of the employees regarding the qualities of entrepreneurs by calculating the symmetry of the scores gotten.
