The purpose of this study was to develop a polymeric composite material that could be considered in the future for its use in the manufacture of an artificial graft to the replacement of the ACL. The synthesized material is composed of a matrix of polylactic acid (PLA), and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) functionalized with polycaprolactone (PCL) as reinforcement. The composite material was characterized chemically and biologically.
