Progress and urban development are practices of dispossession of the territory of the inhabitants. It is just like in the colony it seeks to seize the land from the most disadvantaged inhabitants with the Neocolonial excuse of urban and rural renewal. But in reality, what is done is that they are expropriated, impoverished by not paying them or doing so in deficit, for terms, without compensation and without being relocated, to marginalize and expel them. The above is evidenced in the research called “Psychosocial, economic and territorial implications of urban development projects” Medellín (Colombia) with an ethnographic methodology of participatory action research.
