This article is the result of the bibliographic review carried out with respect to the topics of legislative responsibility, product safety condition and territorial application of the consumer statute. The approach to these issues was carried out in order to obtain criteria that allow knowing their scope, shed light on the treatment that is a level of sources of law have had and verify if the question has been answered through research ¿Is there legislative responsibility in the Colombian consumer statute? Once the analysis of these variables was carried out from the qualitative approach and with the support of legal hermeneutics, it was concluded that the studies carried out do not particularly address the issues raised. Therefore, in the development of the article, arguments will be presented that will reveal the need and relevance of the study based on a legal analysis.
