The present work aims to analyze the pharmacist's performance in relation to drugs, drug interactions and treatment in Panic Disorder. It is an integrative literature review. Methodology: Scientific articles on the theme were used, accessed in the Scielo, LILACS, MEDLINE databases. Results and discussion: It was found that understanding what Panic Disorder is, as well as which medications are most used, leads to different treatments that improve the quality of life of patients. Pharmacological treatment for PD involves the classes of benzodiazepines, antidepressants, serotonin uptake inhibitors, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, tricyclics, in addition to other classes such as MAOIs, IRMAs or others. Combined with drug treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy is the most acceptable and effective treatment for Panic Disorder. Pharmacists must have adequate theoretical knowledge about the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of psychotropic drugs and serve patients empathetically, always looking for well-being and clarifying doubts about the use and effect of drugs presented for treatment and not just as a dispenser. medicines at the counter.
