There is a great interest in the recognition of the dignity of the human being and the role that companies and the education sector have and exercise in their commitment to achieve the promotion and development of capacities in their interest groups, which allow access to the expected levels of sustainable human development through the implementation of actions, strategies and models of Social Responsibility. The phenomenon of Social Responsibility (SR) has importance in itself as recognition and dignification of the being. SR has had an important development as a model of management of institutions at international, national and regional level. Among the various types of SR, one can observe the development and implementation of actions, strategies, and models led by business and non-governmental organizations and, in the last decade, in university institutions. It also bases its interest in the search for research initiatives at the level of research activities from the academy (Research seedbeds - degree projects) as well as in technological development and the constitution of an observatory of social responsibility, in which guidance is given on the management of SR, in turn that a permanent reflection on the subject is maintained and as the concepts and epistemological views towards sustainable development are enriched, ensure that companies adjust their policies, strategies and models towards Responsibility Social; resignify its practices and adjust its lines of contribution towards models of sustainability, all this, under a critical, multidisciplinary and purposeful perspective, which will make possible not only the production of knowledge, but also its transfer and, most importantly, problem solving.
