Abstract:

This article presents the initial steps and theoretical considerations for Computer-assisted Language Learning within the realm of language learning methodology. Based on the expectations created by the rapid changes caused by the Information Revolution many language teachers and researchers have considered the potential of CALL as a sound methodological framework in language teaching and learning.
