For the efficient use of electricity, first, the dimensioning and projection must be carried out in order to avoid possible damage and damage, in addition to obtaining an efficient and satisfactory installation.In school environments, the efficiency of these facilities has direct impacts on students' learning and productivity.This case study aims to analyze the non-conformities of electrical installations of samples of educational institutions in the district of Quitaiús, municipality of Lavras da mangabeira, Ceará, according to the standards of ABNT NBR 5410 (2004), ABNT NBR 5413 (1992) and ABNT NBR 13570 (1996), analyzing its possible consequences on the quality of teaching and the performance of students who depend on local schools.In this study, two schools were analyzed: Joaquim Leite Teixeira and Monsignor José Alves, which serve most of the region.For this, the analysis of these two schools was performed, the characterization of the respective environments according to a script, analysis of the facilities in relation to the standards, comparison of current lighting with the necessary for the environments and finally application of a questionnaire.To assess the non-conformities of the electrical installations of the quitaiús schools, a script was followed, adapting it
